Wildlife tracking, a one-day snow-shoeing tour

We organise a one-day excursion to discover or re-discover the art to walk in the snow. With your family, your friends or on your own, it’s easy, just put on your « raquettes » and open your eyes to spot the animals tracks.

Snow and avalanche safety trainings

You love the snow but don’t know how to use a transceiver, a shovel and a probe, or how to manage a group in the event of an avalanche? Here’s a course to help you learn the right reflexes.

New Year’s Eve bivouac in Taillefer massif

What’s best to enjoy winter than going bivouacking in the snow? Enchanting moments under the bright sunlight or the snowfall, we organise for you a night out during a weekend. The Taillefer plateau is a beautiful place to enjoy this unique adventure!

Hut-to-hut trek in Vercors – 4 days

We set off on a four-day self-guided trek through the snow-covered mountains. We spend the night in a cabin, sheltered from the elements, so we can make the most of these beautiful days in the snow. A perfect holiday to reconnect with our surroundings!

Night under an igloo on the Emparis plateau — 2 days

The quinzhee is a snow shelter easier and quicker to make than the traditional Inuits igloo. During this winter weekend, we’ll climb up the Emparis plateau – with the view on scenic Meije – and build one or several quinzhee, depending on the size of the group, to spend a « warm » night. Indeed, the insulation power of the snow allows the temperature to stay around 0°c, even if outside it’s freezing!

Star-shaped snowshoe trip in Haute-Ubaye — 5 days

The Haute-Ubaye, a remote valley on the Italian border, magnificent and wild. You will stay in an alpine refuge for star-shaped excursions: Col Mary, Marinet lakes, Ubaye river ascent, or even the Chambeyron refuge, between the peaks and the Brec of the same name.

Grande Tête de l’Obiou (2789m, Devoluy massif)

The highest point in the Dévoluy massif, the Grande Tête de l’Obiou can be climbed along an Alpine-style path, in a vertical, mineral world. Although you won’t need to be a mountaineer, you’ll need to be sure-footed to reach this magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Ecrins, the Trièves and the Dévoluy massif, and further on the Vercors, Grenoble and the Chartreuse, and even further still the Montagne de Lure, Mont Ventoux and Mont Blanc.

This beautiful loop from the Pas de l’Aiguille to the Pas de l’Essaure is a little-used route that will take you to the Vercors High Plateaux and the Combeau valley, with its breathtaking views of Mont Aiguille and a major site of the Resistance.

The Rognon (1851m)

Training in map reading and orienteering

A day of training in map reading, compass use (bearing, azimuth, triangulation) and practical application in the field.

Orienteering

After a brief introduction to map reading and compass use, there is an easy orienteering course, supervised for adults and families, and guided for children. There are around ten markers to find, each with a discovery sheet about an aspect of the mountains (birds, trees, forests, landscape, etc.).

Regular sessions at the beginning or end of the day are organised on easy tracks or paths, to help maintain or get back into shape, with warm-ups beforehand and time to cool down at the end of the session.

Days / Dates : 1 session per week per group. Dates and locations are communicated to participants when they register.

Crossing the Chartreuse on your own – 3 days

We’re offering you a magnificent three-day tour of the eastern foothills of the Chartreuse. The bonus: a station-to-station crossing, for a trek that’s accessible by public transport! With two nights’ bivouacking, this crossing brings you as close as possible to the mountains and the spring flora and fauna.

The south of the Écrins offers wild, less-travelled landscapes. This 3-day trek crosses the massif from east to west and then from west to east, passing through the mountain villages of Prapic and Dormillouse (Sud-Écrins).

The Massif des Monges, 3 days itinerary in Haute-Provence

The snow has disappeared, the sun is beginning to warm the earth, the flowers are out and the trees are awake! It’s time to immerse yourself in the rebirth of nature, in the Pre-Alps of Digne. On the menu: 3 days of Spring hiking, from gîte to gîte, with a moderate average daily climb and the assurance of a light pack, a good meal and a warm night’s sleep.

Between the Mercantour and Lac d’Allos, we’re offering a beautiful and original loop through larch forests and alpine meadows. Come and get a taste of the southern Alps before the heat arrives, from the mountain villages of Bayasse and Saint Dalmas le Selvage, via the Allos lake and the Col de la Cayolle.

Mont Aiguille Grand Tour in bivouac – Vercors Regional Park – 2 days

The Mont Aiguille is a mythical mountain conquered in 1492, marking the beginning of mountaineering. We’ll tour it via the charming villages of Trézanne, Chichilianne and la Richardière, setting foot on the Vercors High Plateaux for an unforgettable view of Mont Aiguille.

Hike and overnight stay in an unguarded refuge in Devoluy

Come and discover the charm of a night in a mountain hut! Over the course of a weekend, we’ll spend two days hiking in the mountain pastures of the Dévoluy massif (one hour south of Grenoble) and spending the night in an unguarded mountain hut. Mountain atmosphere guaranteed!

Devoluy trek: 3 day hiking and 2 night bivouac

For us, the best way to immerse yourself in the mountains is to roam! In a small group, we’ll set off from Lus-la-Croix-Haute (possibility to come by train) and head into the heart of the Dévoluy massif, passing wild mountain passes where we might even catch a glimpse of the bearded vulture, chamois or wolves. The bivouac will enable us to stay as close as possible to our environment and share precious moments together.

To take part in this adventure, you must have the equipment needed for bivouac (if you don’t want to buy, you can rent it in a shop or ask a friend).
